Moving to London to train as a lawyer from the Cornwall coast, Tim finally finds the beautiful but very insecure Mary (Rachel McAdams) and they quickly fall in love. Then an unfortunate time-travel incident means that they have never met in the first place. Later on they meet for the first time again-and again-but finally, after a lot of time traveling, Tim wins her heart.
